Media Showcase
The EDGD Media Showcase is intended to be an interactive session which allows the authors to discuss their topics or illustrate/demonstrate techniques. This session allows for one-on-one interaction with the audience. Display boards, 36" x 48" tri-fold, and/or tables will be provided. In addition, authors can set up a computer display that allows for interactivity or on-screen displays (slide shows). This format allows authors to display physical props or models that are not as effective in a larger group. The presentation should include visuals; simply posting a paper is not acceptable.
Authors may write a paper for review which will be included in the proceedings. While the abstract deadline has been extended to July 15st, media showcase papers must be submitted by August 31, 2010.
The Media Showcase Session will be held on the 7th floor of the Best Western Franklin Square Inn, Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The room will be open for setup at 5:30 PM.
